Seasonal Dock Installation and Removal on Bear Lake

The state sets the window for when docks can go in and come out, and everyone wants theirs in around the same weeks in spring and out around the same weeks in fall. Customers on our standing seasonal list get scheduled first, which is the main reason to be on it.
Pulling a dock is not just about the dock. Sections have to come out without racking the frame, hardware needs to be accounted for so it is not missing next May, and the whole thing has to go somewhere it will not sit in standing water through the off season. We handle that end of it too.

- When do docks go in and come out of Bear Lake?
- Ultimately, the state dictates how early we can put a dock in and pull it out of the lake, but the window is large enough that everyone gets in and out on time. For an existing dock already on site, timing is easy and we can guarantee the window. For a brand new dock, timing depends on when the order was placed, so we cannot always guarantee the same window, but if we are building a new dock, we aim to have it in before Memorial Day and pulled after Labor Day.
- Can you install a dock I bought somewhere else?
- Usually yes. Send us photos and whatever documentation came with it and we will tell you whether we can put it in and what its foundation needs.
